Day 1: Introduction to Freelancing

Introduction:
Freelancing allows you to earn as much as you can right from your home. There are four platforms through which you can earn if you are really good at any(one) skill:

1.Upwork.com
2. Freelance.com
3. Fiver.com
4. Guru.com

Regarding upwork.com, the news is in the air that they have now closed the membership but since i had an old account (not operational but just an account) so it worked for me.

Freelance.com and Fiver.com has less work volume in comparison to Guru.com.

Creating Profile:
Please be open while creating your profile. Spend some good hours in filling all the details necessary to complete it. An incomplete profile will take you nowhere.

1. Uploading Profile Picture:
The profile picture should be of good quality with a smile on your face and a professional look. Nobody like to do business with rude people. Your profile picture should start with a good head room and end up at your arms length. It should be portfolio type. Please try to upload a sensible picture. You can dress in blue and black to leave a good impression. Blue color represents loyalty.

2. Description: 
Your description should not be less than or more than 200 characters that would cater:

1.         Your Brief Introduction.
2.         Years of Work Experience .
3.         Formal Education. (ex: I did my Masters in Marketing etc.)
4.         Industries you worked for (ex: I worked for Health and Fitness Coaches, Automobile and    Academia etc.)

3. Portfolio
Your portfolio should include at least 5- working URL's with an explanation of your contribution to it. (ex: If you have created a logo for 5- websites, you should provide 5- working URL's along with a text explaining your logo etc.)

4. Video
This is one of the most ignored area and most vital in locking any deal with an employer. Create a short video using your mobile, laptop or DSLR of not less than 40-sec and more than 1 minute 20-seconds to explain these things:

1. Your Brief Introduction
2. Years of Education
3. Education
4. Industries You Worked for 
5. Why are You Creating This Video

Upload your video to You Tube Channel and put it in your profile link. Please keep in view a good background, good lights and good audio and video quality to create introductory video to en cash the benefit.
